Mt Buller opens for skiing and boarding over the weekend!

The Mt Buller community awoke on the weekend to a white blanket of fresh snow covering the resort and skiers and boarders were able to make their first turns for the 2008 season.
More than 15cm of fresh snow has fallen across the resort over the weekend, and favourable weather conditions have allowed snowmaking to continue.
The season officially opened on the Queen’s Birthday long weekend, and Buller Ski Lifts’ general manager Laurie Blampied said it was extremely positive to see snow on the ground.
“We have started making snow on some of our most popular beginner and intermediate runs, including Little Buller Spur, Bourke Street, Baldy, Koflers and the Summit.
