The 2011 KD Platinum is designed for experienced skiers. The specially designed beveled edges from the front binding to tip of the ski and from the rear kicker to tail of the ski are for quicker initiation of turns and allows the ski to sit deeper in the water for increased angle and acceleration. As well as elevated ridges on the deck of the ski to absorb energy as the ski decelerates the wing design is to focus energy towards the edges of the ski increasing edge hold. The four stage flex line maximizes the skis performance and combined with the Edge to Edge performance beveled rails this ski will not disappoint.
